Too Drunk to Remember;
Too Sober to Forget
Last week, Greg Dayton introduced his monthly Applejack Acoustic Jam concert
series at the Triad Theatre on 72nd Street, featuring legendary bluesman
Bill Sims, Jr. In the second half, Greg's band played two songs he and I
wrote together — one called "Those Happiness Blues" and another titled, yes
"Too Drunk to Remember; Too Sober to Forget." We hope to soon have a
recording of the band doing these songs.

In the meantime, here's a demo recorded for rehearsal by Greg alone:

Wasn't that fun!

The Triad Theatre is an adorable little, history-rich theatre. And as one of the performers put it, it's a miracle the place isn't a CVS drug store by now.

Late-breaking update: The March 9 Applejack Acoustic Jam was quite a success. Here, despite a bit of a lyric malfunction, is a video clip of our song “Happiness Blues.”

Coming soon to the next concert: “Love is a Two-Way Street on a One-Way Road.” Stay Tuned.
